Track 6

Iron & Ice

From Rusty’s notebook

Some roads are not made of distance.
They are made of weight, weather, and will.
In “Iron & Ice”, the world hardens around him,
while the road keeps calling through the cold.

The song begins in a land of metal and frost —
where the ground feels like iron beneath the tires,
the air cuts sharp through the cabin,
the heater is gone,
and the coffee has turned cold before morning.

Then the landscape grows heavier.
Frost climbs the door,
a ghost town sleeps in the valley below,
and the mountain wind presses hard
against a rusted engine that still refuses to stop.

“Iron & Ice” is the moment when the road stops feeling like escape.
It’s the sound of endurance without applause,
of a worn-down soul staying steady,
and a tired heart learning
that survival can be quiet, heavy, and cold.

Cracked knuckles on the wheel.
Blue ice in every direction.
A tattered banner never raised.
And one rusted engine
still moving through the frozen dark.
